Another impressive result was that of Patrick “pads1161” Leonard who managed to reach the final table of the star-studded Sunday 6-Max. Leonard, who has become one of the most-feared tournament players in the world since making the switch from cash games and now has an extra $4,261.50 in his lifetime winnings thanks to this sixth place finish.
Over at PokerStars’ sister site Full Tilt Poker, “Seldoon” won the Super Sized Sunday and pocketed $30,456 for his efforts, while Ben “cheesies” Martin multiplied his buy-in ten times by finishing seventh in the Big Ben for $1,788.70.

“XRIVERFISHX” reached the last table of The T-Rex but couldn’t get going and was the first casualty of the finale, finishing ninth for $2,419.20.
The two flagship Sunday tournaments at 888poker produced good results for some high-ranking Brits.
Jareth “hteraaj2001” East managed a seventh place finish in the $60,000 TURBO Mega Deep for $1,950 while Durham’s Jonathan “silkypeano” Peacock helped himself to a $9,000 payout for his runner-up finish.
In the $125,000 Mega Deep there were three Brits at the final table. Paul “xxCelticFCxx Febers finished eighth for $2,730 while “afulari” went one place higher and locked up $3,900. Mathew “TheWiseOwl” Frankland added $19,175 to his bankroll when he fell and the final hurdle and finished second to Sweden’s “Madeon1994.”Epiphany77 Masterclass
Overall it was a relatively quiet Sunday for British and Irish grinders, but it was to be expected after several consecutive weeks of completely crushing the majors like they were POTRIPPER and the fact we’ve actually seen the sun for once so many spent Sunday having some much needed R&R before heading to Las Vegas for the 2014 WSOP where they will make it #YearOfTheBrits.
